Help Support :

Let me assure you all,

That there are MANY Hospital Kitchens that are NO where near as clean as his. And one major hospital here in FT W. that is almost 60 years old and not a single pc of equiptment has EVER been replaced and it ALL looks it too. Most has not had a good cleaning in years either. Just beacuse you would think a hospital kitchen is clean think again.. Many are clean and well run but many are NOT.

It's not the home it's the people....that's who we come to see and visit, not the home.....the few splashes of food particles means your a great cook, and a wonderul hostess...

screw those @ssholes.....if that's all they see when they come to your house, you don't need them.....

like I said, I'm coming to visit you, not the house!!!

sorry everyone. I did not mean create such a big fuss. I guess I am a prissy asshole after all. LOL

sorry again. I hope you all forgive me. I am a nice guy. a little anal, but a nice guy. Really.

OCD

Without us OCD types, who would create the sterotype that all gay men are clean and neat as a pin. I forgot, always charming, compassionate and mindful of their mother's feelings.

Look at the yellowing on the door, and rust in the corners.

Hard water deposits commonly mimic the appearance of rust. You'd be surprised how much of the "rust" disappears with a little CLR and elbow grease.

does CLR work for you guys, I have no luck with this stuff on anything I try it on....

same thing with OXICLEAN, can't get good results from it!

may be it's just me

some people have excellent results from this stuff.....

From the looks of the tub, colander, ceramic ware etc, it's rust.

Rust is just oxidized iron, a little extra isn't going to kill anyone. The problem is bacteria that lives in the rust. Hopefully Robert uses hot enough water and chlorinated detergent to prevent any substantial growth.

Again, nothing personal is meant, and I'm not making any value judgments about anyone.

"does CLR work for you guys, I have no luck with this stuff on anything I try it on...."

Yeah, but only when used in full strength applications.

"same thing with OXICLEAN, can't get good results from it!"

Not sure about Oxiclean, I use Oxyboost which was rated the best oxygen bleach formula for the dollar during a test back in 2004. I have better results with oxyboost than chlorine bleach. It's nice to have my socks and underwear cleaner and brighter without being destroyed and having that dried, stiff feeling. Oxygen bleaches don't work as well in cold water, so don't expect any miracles when doing cold water washes. Also, Oxygen bleaches require time to get the job done. For whites, I let the Maytag agitate with 140F water up until it momentarily stops to reverse for spin, and then soak the load for 8 hours.

CLR & OXI CLEAN

I have used both, CLR does a fair job But for some reason I cannot get Oxiclean to work at all. I really think that it has a lot to do with the water. FT Worth is known for awful water.

the rust is due to.....

our well water- we live in Southern MD & it is loaded with Iron, & very hard- I try to avoid pre-rinsing, I think that helps keep the rust from collecting more- like dumping leftover orange juice in it- I doubt I would be interested in that Dishwasher cleaning stuff either- whats in that anyway?
(Thank you for support everyone!)
