I say quasi-vintage because that thing has right my age! :O And I don't feel vintage at all!
I was going to post this on the modern forum but having seen the limit of 20 years and older I readily switched to pink!
This week I'm going to collect my first vintage washing machine! A Candy Alisè washer-dryer, model 16WD, my guess is that it's one of the first bearing the name "Alisè", along model 21WD (that had 2 more options button).
Anyway, I found this machine just half a kilometre from my place and apparently in good working order as it's being sold only because the old lady in the flat has been transferred to a nursing home. This machine is the exact model I messed up with at the house of my "grandma", the older lady that lived downstairs and kept me as a little child
(she is still using it! So apparently very long lived machines!) and when I saw it I phoned right away, for 40€ it was a price I couldn't resist!
I just have to arrange pick up with a friend as that thing sure is heavier than a modern washer being with a stainless steel tub and outer tub and dryer assembly!
