It was so wonderful to see his collection.. I have now seen some TRUE Tags (they dont have them where i come from) and wow... How beautiful.. My favorite was his white early 60's set they where in immaculate shape...

My other favorite was the 1963 Turqouise Kenmore Set.. That is one beautiful set.. So much style, so much chrome.. Woofs!

Oh and how could i forget using his maytag twin tub imperpeller... That thing works really well for such a small package

I also love the style of the wood graind, green 1968 Whirlpool set.. Screams beautifulness

I was soo nervous getting to see this stuff for the first time, but once i got to see it.. wow..

Thanks again

Happy Trails

Thank you to both of you. For those of us who only dream of owning such a collection or traveling to Kevin's this is a great way to share the thrill.

It was very, very, very spur of the moment!

Travelincub321 (Charles) it was very nice to meet you and a pleasure to show my collection to you.

When you posted the thread "Bored in Long Beach..." I contacted you and discovered you were in a hotel less then 10 minutes from me! I thought "I CAN'T let you sit in your hotel bored when there are washers and dryers SO near by to enjoy!"

I was surprised when you told me you had NEVER seen a real Maytag up close and in person (WOW), I was very pleased I have a few to show you!

Happy trails, safe travels and I look forward to seeing you again the next time you are out this way, I'll make sure there is a Maytag hooked up to you can see real Maytag in action, live!

Cheers,
Kevin

That might change the itinerary a bit...

We're already going to check out his new(er) dishwasher and BD washer while possibly fixing a DD of his... Depending on time, we might have to check out Kevin's green GE set and the Wards 'burpalator'. I might even be able to give him a little E2LP 101... Since he will be staying near our south Reno store, I should be able to show him our PA900 which is on static display. Cub, you're gonna be a busy boy... LOL!

Thomas...

I have worked with many Brazilian men this summer (which most of them are hot) LOL. My friend is from Parana in Curitiba or the other way around . But from what he says, he's not far from Foz de Iguasu. (Ain't he cute ? )

Curitiba is the capital of Parana, which coincidenly is my state and even more coincidently, the Electrolux Latin America Headquarters is there.

Curitiba is also considered the "green" capital in Brazil. Everything htere is very green. it's a huge city but with hundreds of parks and beautiful gardens.

I've lived there for many years. and it's only 600km far from Iguassu.
