Organ...

well, don't know about the organ...but if we ever get an east coast convention, I'll gladly bring my bass guitar if any of you know any classic rock stuff, we can jam :-)

Soo... on that note.... who are the musicians of AW.Org? Any of you have any vintage musical instruments?

Autowasherfreak, we should meet sometime. I am about a good hour from Moline. Any of you would be great to know.
As far as vintage musical instruments goes Davy, I have a 1914 Waltham Player piano made in Milwaukee, WI. and a 1906 Estey pipe organ at home here. Pipes have come from other manufacturers too such as:moller, hinners and Wicks. Have fun, Gary

I really want to know if one of our friends of here is gay..... but he still didn't post in this thread!
He's aquarius1984, he looks so pretty in a post of him, where he apears in a pic...

You husband or your neighbor?

I love my husband; the neighbor more/greater.

These are Romanians doing Greek.
This song was all the rage in 1973.

Hello Gary

Well, Gary we will have to get together sometime and do lunch. I don't have any interesting washers yet. I have mostly typewriters, Apple II computers, and a few vacuum cleaners.

Jim

After reading the thread about the Newmaq Atlanta washing machine in the "Deluxe" forum I was looking for more information about "pulsator wasmachines" as this type of washer is called in Dutch. Much to my surprise I arrived at this web page with book reviews. In the Dutch review text it is mentioned that the book pays attention to some "special cases" such as "de verzamelaar van oude wasmachines" (the collector of old washing machines). The passion to preserve is apparently fairly common among gay men according to this book.

Speaking of Adam Pernell Roberts and Richard Boone,

Does anyone remember Robert Conrad (James West) on "The Wild,Wild West" show. I wasn't into Westerns when I was 13 but I had a major crush on this guy especially when he was in those tight pants.

I remember him. Definitely handsome, but Roberts had that 'guy next door' look that I've always gone for, even as a kid.

Pernell Roberts, and Michael Landon when they were in Bonanza, HOT! I would roll in the hay with either of them, LOL.

As for "our" Robert, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 20!

Thanks Panthera

Keven,

I appreciate your taking the time to explain the Christianist term to me. Now it makes sense as to what you are talking about. I've never heard the term used by anyone so was not aware of it. I am well aware of and don't condone discriminating behavior to anyone, and know that it has used in the name of religion for many years.

The best way that I know to combat the lies is to continue to educate those who don't know better by sharing the truth. I especially support the work that the organization Soulforce does (http://www.soulforce.org) in educating people about freedom for the LGBT community from religious and political oppression through nonviolent resistance. Their methods focus on the success and legacy of Dr. King and Gandhi.

Best,

RichM
