I really should be in bed, asleep right now.

The lumpectomy is tomorrow (Friday 21 April,) at 8 am. Have to be at the outpatient surgery centre by 7.

I am not deeply worried, but I am less calm than I have been.

What happens, happens.

Probably will not post much, if at all later Friday, but should have updates later in the weekend.

Followup appointment with the surgeon on 28 April.

Your encouragement, prayers, emails, and good thoughts have been so very welcome.

This is a great site, and a really wonderful group of people.

Boris the Bold Blue kitty is rubbing up against me now.

Love and laughter..

Positive thoughts and prayers for you!

I already added you in my nightly prayers but will say a few extra for you in the coming days. I hope everything goes smoothly and hope that you are back on your feet again quickly.

Thank you all-- !

Procedure went well.

No one told me that I had to shave my site, or I would have, and done a better (neater) job than the nurse.

The anestetist-nurse was a guy. Nice, but average looking.

And playing for the other team.

I resisted the urge to say: "The last time a man drugged me to this extent he was in full leather and had a riding crop in his left hand."

Got home around 10 am, went to bed at 10:04.

Going to take a pain pill, and go back to bed.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Lawrence,

I'm glad that you had a fairly easy time. You will be up and about in no time. Give yourself plenty of time to heal.

You should have told your anestetist-nurse that the last time someone shaved your chest you insisted on, at the very least, dinner and drinks!!!

Be well and come back soon!!!

Rich
