Well, I couldn't stand his Cadillac thing for even a couple of minutes.
Now, think about this: is that wedding band fake? Or is there someone who actually can stand him and *married* him?

;-)
Anyway, since you mentioned the Subaru Outback, which is a car I like, I made an effort to watch the entire thing. Very disappointing, because he claims he's gonna tell us about the driving experience, but then doesn't. How does the AWD behave in the usual driving conditions? How about snow, ice, sand, mud, ramps etc? How about breaking, steering, avoidance maneuvers etc?
It feels like the dealership not only let him borrow the car, but paid him to not say anything important.
I have a friend who loves Doug's videos, and one time he showed me one of the videos where Doug, who seemed to have a love/hate relationship with a Land Rover or Range Rover or whatever talked about his experience of buying a pre-owned one thru a company that offered a bumper-to-bumper warranty -- the company spent way more than the value of the warranty because the car kept breaking all the time, one time it broke a block or two out of the shop. During the video, he showed why he loved the car, when it was working -- the SUV in front of him was shaking from side-to-side in an off-road situation, while Doug looked like he was driving his car on asphalt, drinking his beverage.
But yeah, he is very annoying, and I don't believe his "reviews" can be taken in any way, shape or form beyond "entertainment", we end up not knowing much about the cars -- or, at least it has been that way for the few videos of his that I've watched.
