Yes, again.

HotpointFan, its nice to see you have adjusted well into the forum and im sure you will continue to make good friends and gain excellent knowledge.

Its been Toms choice to leave so I will leave it at that. Im sure hes made the right decision.

Aquarius8000 perhaps you should now look at the situation and re alter your schedule to account for these happenings and take what you need into the future. This excersize was not to isolate particular members, merely integrate.

Lets keep the forum to quality chat just like the Hoover Thread in Imperial, there have been to many what if, Maybe and I mights which has driven the forum apart.

I think the Deluxe forum rules may need rewritten...

Like many of the older members I too am a little annoyed with the way the forums are being treated, particularly the Deluxe forum.

This is not Facebook, Texting or MSN. If you must tell someone instantly about emails or that then the 3 listed are most suitable. A forum does not work like that and whatever gave you's the feeling that it was capable of instant messaging is wrong.

Facebook is wonderful and it's free, many members like myself use it for washing machine related and personal conversation.

Please do consider your actions before acting on the forums.

As for swearing or threatening to leave, you're showing yourselve's up and not us.

Also two more matters; alerting people of emails on the forum is not a good method as most people check their emails before logging on here, hence your posts are a waste of space.

Secondly, I personally wouldn't call buying new machines or indeed anything post 2000 "collecting". You are merely getting a modern machine to play with.

Collectables are something I personally describe as old (pre 2000), rare, classic and cause a stir among older members due to it's collectablity.

Sorry if I appear to be harsh but enough is enough.

Regards, a fellow young member AKA James.

I don't post in here much, but I still pop by and read even if I'm not posting. I've been getting quite frustrated with the number of nonsensical threads appearing - like this one, unnecessary 'cause there was already at least one open about it. Or the one with a load of pictures from shops - put them on flickr, or facebook, or similar - machines in stores we can see in pics from the stores or manufacturers.

BUT, the big thing that has gotten to me is the attitude of some people (a good example is above) - there's people on here who have been chatting on and off for years, since quite young, and just didn't think to behave like that years ago... and they/we/I don't like to see it.

We all have a bad mood from time to time, and post something a bit narky occasionally somewhere, but what makes people take notice is more if you come back, apologise, and move on, and not flouncing off in a snit.
