oh...I am in love with my brand new, in the box, Osterizer Pulse-matic. Not sure what year it is from. I am thinking late 60's to very early 70's??

Any thoughts?

shiny without a scratch! I can't believe this has sat in a box for 30+ years, unused...Lucky me =)

thank you!

ha ha, seriously, any thoughts on the age? I know you are a fan of Osterizer aren't you?

Nice!

Chrome base and avocado green trim - very classy! The Long pulse and Short pulse intrigue me. Is this one of the Osterizers that will stop and start itself to cycle the blender on and off?
Congratulations on a very cool find!

Top of the line model

I have that one as well in white and chrome and it's also shown in my 1973/74 Consumers Distributing catalog for $69.95. Other similar models in avocado/chrome were still in catalogs I have from 1978. They enjoyed a long run.

"Have you tried it yet?"

"I did find a box of the small jars and lids for this - I should send them to you since I'll never used them!"

Hi Greg!

Oh, yes!! I use it to make my protein shakes before or after the gym. What do you mean small jars and lids? That is very generous of you to offer.

Much Thanks to you

Shane

It's hard to say -

Many elements of the design are so perfect, they are still in use today. I do remember hearing and seeing one (in that order) in our high-school home-ec. classrooms and everything else in the room had been donated in 1970 - so maybe that is a clue.
Our teacher suggested these were especially good for fibrous materials, the pulsing preventing the fibers from tangling.
Congratulations - what a beauty!
