Thank you all very much for your kind thoughts, prayers, cards, flowers, telephone calls and visits, during my recent illness and surgery.

I have been home since Sunday evening and have been slowly making progress.
The staples were removed yesterday.
Am very weak and not at all used to it so I am having to adjust. Killer stays glued to my side to make sure I am doing all right.

My color continues to improve----turned a vibrant shade of yellow from the initial blockage of the bile duct. Nothing a few bottles of Jaundrofiant couldn't remedy, but am resorting to more mundane methods such as plenty of water.

Lost a good bit of weight in a big hurry---not that it could hurt me one bit, but I overdid it. Now I can't seem to get my appetitie back. Oh well, in time.

Thanks again everyone! I am truly blessed to have you!

XXSteve

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery! Just take it easy and don't rush things! You've definitely "been through the wringer!"

get well soon !!

Steve, glad your home and on the mend, best wishes for a smooth and hopefully "sooner" recovery. Sorry to hear about all you had to go through. I was in the hospital last spring for similar but not as severe and I had laporoscopic so not nearly as invasive. It will take a while to bounce back my friend, but it will happen. Hang in there, best wishes -- gregm

Steve I am so glad that you are home. I am sure that you are able to rest much better there than in the hospital. Just know that you have been in my thoughts. I have kept track of your progress through Greg. Take good care. Just wish I was close enough to stir up something nice and fattening for you. Terry

Hi Steve,

YAY! Glad to hear you're back home with Killer and feeling better...will be sure to call you when the GE Combo is running. As far as what you've had to go through; been there, done that...know exactly what recovery is like. But you'll be back on your feet moving washers before you know it!

Take care,
Austin

He ain't right, he just ain't right.......

You-
(to Steve R from Steve R:)

Get better quick, or I will descend upon you (un-invited) and make sure I get me some southern-fried chicken, pies, collard greens grits and all manner of deep-fried die-right-now cholesterol. *LOL*

Keep on truckin, boy.

BIG HUGS
