A Pair of Vintage Osterizers

Hey all, I generally stick to the vacuum forum, but wanted to share these gems with folks who really appreciate them.

The cream/goldish colored one was an eBay purchase, and the black and chrome one was a gift from a friend.

They've both been cleaned up completely since the pics were taken.

Just for the heck of it, I included a pic of the blades being washed via two cups of warm water and a squirt of Ajax on a "Stir" cycle.

Nice heavy blenders.  Have fun using them!

 

I highly recommend the ice crusher blade for smoothies and cocktails.

Oh lordy, a third panel variation of the Dual-Range Pulse-Matic!

Nice blenders you have there. The chrome model is the one I grew up with, however in an avocado case. -C

It looks like I have the same Osterizer Dual-Range Pulse-Matic.

Back in the 80's to early 90's I had a gold Osterizer very similar to the dual range you pictured. The motor finally seized up and I tossed it. One too many Daquiris, I suspect.
