I'm trying to source a nicely maintained (cosmetically mainly) Kenmore Elite series top loader or similar Whirlpool direct drive to completely refurbish and use as a daily. It seems like most parts are still decently available new. Are there any ones in particular that are scarcer these days? What are the best parts to carry a back stock of? I'm not saying money is no object, but I'm willing to throw a decent amount of money at this project to make it as new as I can make it so I can get a bunch more years out of it. I've watched just about every instructional video there is on that series and, with the exception of the pressed bearing, I'm pretty confident I can do everything. Any other advice or guidance on something I'm missing would be great. Thanks!
