A friend's 14-year-old niece had a stroke last Friday evening, and died yesterday evening. She had a history of cardiac trouble, repair of a heart valve two years ago. A bacteria infection in the valve was determined to be the cause.

I know we're a compassionate group. I'm to tears writing this although I didn't know Elissa. Please keep John, his sister and family in your thoughts.

Tragic!!!

They are in my thoughts and prayers. Though I'm not a parent, I can't imagine anything more tragic than burying a child. Now is when they need good friends to be close :-)

Oh Glenn...I can't even imagine having to lose someone that young at all, much less in that way. Thinking of you and your friends.

Glen,
its never easy to lose someone so young, but the brighter side for this little girl is there is no more pain or suffering for her anymore, she is in heaven and at peace.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and you too.
Peace to you
Jeff

Very sorry..

Glenn.

Very sorry to hear about your friends loss. Its never easy to lose a loved one. When they are so young and haven't lived a full life it's so much more tragic.

you and your friends family will be in my thoughts

Peace

Glenn, the one comfort is that she is at peace. I know this is a very difficult loss for her friends and family. My partner lost his 36 year old niece back in October. Quite a bit older, but still for his parents, her 80+ grandparents, it was and still remains a difficult thing to accept and cope with to lose a grandchild.

I hope you and your friend's family are able to celebrate her life and understand that she is in a better place, and realize that things happen for a reason. I know what you are going through and my sympathies to all of you during this time of loss.

Re: Condolences:

Glenn, I'm sorry to hear about your Friends Niece's Passing. It is such a young age to loose someone at and that much harder for the most part on the Parent's.

Please include my Condolences to her Family and other Family members, as well as for you too Glenn.

We lost a 2nd Cousin many years ago, from Leiukemia. Allan was only 7-years old and he fought with it for 4-years, including his Parent's taking him Overseas to the Philippines to a Miracle Worker.

The last resort was his Sister being a Bone Marrow Donor and that gave Allan the last 1 to 2 years of life. Some of us have been really hard hit with Family and Friends Passings, through these past several years...

Peace, Blessings, Prayers and Hugs, Steve
