Oh yeah. I remember.

What I remember mostly is that in our Georgia basement laundry room, those tablets could act very strangely in summer; they'd crumble in the box. It was the humidity, of course.

In winter, they didn't crumble, but they often didn't dissolve in the wash, either.
 
Tonight at the laundromat, this man came in and used one of the triple load Huebsch front loaders. He packed it full to the point where the whole thing just spun around, no tumbling at all. And poured in what looked like half a box of Classic Formula Sun. It was a small box but good for at least 12 loads. On the very last spin, there was a flood of suds down the inside of the window. It makes me wonder if he has skin issues from soap residue and not realize that's what it could be from.
