I would love to have one of those one day. I am keeping my eyes peeled on Ebay for any sold locally to me in East Sussex.
If you have the space and the technical skill to fix any problems then why not. Of course it really does depend how much you like Hoover. It'll be great to have one of these in 20 years time.
I absalutely adore my Logic. Its fantastic. Mines a A3632 from may of 1988! Same model just its white! If you like fantastic washing, rinsing and excellent spinning....Get it! Its very fun to watch i don't know whether you've seen my videos of it on youtube, maybe that will help you decide i've included the link for you
I will go into work and investigate it- I have no idea whats wrong with it (if anything). As Mike says parts are still readily availiable and most are pretty cheap .

If I hadnt just brought the Lux and been so impressed with it I would SERIOUSLY consider having it as my daily driver- I dont have a water meter so the 120l water consumption wouldnt be a problem lol!.

Id forgotten how clicky those self seaking timers are!- and also how deep the washes are- guess all that water gets used to good effect .
I finally got to have a play with this yesterday- apart from so much loose scale coming out the 1st time I tried it that the sink blocked, there appears to be absolutly nothing wrong with it!!!!
