A tale of three dishwashers....

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It may not have the lid, but by golly, the tub and racks are in fine shape!! Perfect for a 'demo' machine, I think. I hope this will be part of the 'dishwasher gallery' I dream of building in the loft area above the garage in Ogden soon! Now, time to get that 54 GE, the 68 Mobile Maid and oh yeah, I have to water test the 65 LK roto rack... Oh, 2012 is going to be busy!!

Turquoise Whirlpool

Wow this stand alone Whirlpool looks simply stunning! Quite unlike most other machines you could see.

Great work Paul!

You sure know how to take on the projects! I love the color and shape of the Whirlpool portable. Can't wait to hear what kind of marks it gets on the washing.

The GE Princess looks like it's operating perfectly too. Nice to see what's going on through the plexiglass lid. Enjoy!

I had completely forgotten about your 1957 D&M Whirlpool. And it's cabinet! Nice to see Chris is helping! Did you tell him you needed help to cut a plexiglass to install a window a/c or something like that?!

The turquoise is spectacular; it's an enormous splash like a big square easter egg.

I love portable DW's . They're so much like wringer washers.

Nice pic of himself in his surgical spectacles.

Great progress on the dishwashers Paul. I especially enjoyed watching the live demo on the Princess. Typical water patern with the bowtie impeller that I have seen on my Mobile Maid. The Plexiglas lid is certainly the best option that I have come up with for dishwashers that are going to be demo machines. I am happy that is is working for you as well.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Look forward to seeing more after next weekend.

Paul nice video.

The Whirlpool is one of my faverits out of many in your collection.

Looking forward to seeing more and good luck this weekend coming.

Wash test weekend!

The moment of truth... How would the second "maiden wash" of the 61 Whirlpool go??
This was a real 'torture test' - the dishes had been sitting for not one, not two, but four days!

So, two down, one to go! On Saturday, I painted the repaired tub of the 57 Whirlpool with some POR-15. I figured it would be wise to coat the impeller shaft, too.
