Fridg-

How are you liking India Tide Matic front load powder that you ordered? Cleans well? Do you think it's worth the money? I just wanting to know if you recommend trying it out.

Hi Rich- I have quite a number of detergents in the cupboard—see photo #4 below—but the TideMatic from India gets used once every week or two. I prefer slightly it over the ArielMatic, also made by P&G in India. The Ariel is even sudsier than TideMatic and doesn’t rinse out as efficiently as its TideMatic sibling. TideMatic cleans well, but the standout feature is that its scent is different than American detergents. Having said all that, I probably won’t order it again as there are other detergents I prefer. ArielMatic, from India, is scented almost identically to TideMatic and is available on Amazon for a lower price than TideMatic from NavaFresh.

I did just order a 2.2 lb. bag of Tide Jasmine & Rose scent, also from India, available at Amazon. I’m curious about the scent. This is the formulation for top-loaders; the version for front-loaders wasn’t available—so I expect I’ll have to dose parsimoniously.

H-Bid was flooded recently with bottles of that India "TideMatic" liquid.

I'll say it again P&G is either directly or indirectly dumping the stuff in USA. Person or persons are importing it in good amounts for it to end up at dollar discount stores and auction sites among other vendors.

Maybe stuff isn't selling well in India?
