Steve, yes, it would be a great idea to see if the owner would like to liquidate stock. It would probably take lots of man/woman hours to clean and catalog his inventory, but as they say "there's gold in dem dar hills".
While it would be a worthwhile endevour, and this is really putting the cart before the horse, to make it work the project would need a clear frame work to prevent any misunderstandings between club members, and or anyone stepping on anyone else's toes.
Again old appliance repair/stores like this are dying breeds. Normally what a big outfit like Sunderberg (sp?) does not take, ends up in a dumpster. Considering this is a public forum if anyone is serious we should take the conversation "private". Do not want the trolls reading the board and getting ideas. No offense meant to the trolls *LOL*.
