This clip from "Britain's Got Talent" is a story about a guy, a guy like most of us, common, questioning his existences, measuring himself to others, never believing in his abilities or his worth.

Then one day, his passion outgrew his fears as he stepped onto a stage, a stage that took him to a place beyond his self imposed prison.

Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on the stage. You can almost see what they're thinking as they pre-judge this guy based on his looks and the fact that he's a cell phone salesman.

Maybe this guy stopped believing in what people told him for so many years and ultimately started listening to his passion.

Perhaps this is you!

YAY TEXAS! Belt it out girl!

It is amazing where talent can be found, sometimes unexpectedly.

*WOW* He's good and humble too! His voice DOES make one's knees weak!

Following is a clip from "Greece, You Have Talent....Episode 1 part 2" The singer is Cali Georgelli.
This young lady was born in Houston, Texas. She is 14 y.o.

The station is Ant-one to us, but Ant-enna, to them!
Sorry but here is one more.

The comments include: "You tore-it up; into shreds!" "I got goose-bumps" "And here is goddess Calli"

goddess? Maybe
Siren? Definitely.

That is incredible, it does bring tears to ones eyes, what a wonderful God given talent, and a great lesson for all of us. Thanks so much for sharing that Charles.

Talent shows

as a rule, I loathe them but they do turn up the occasional diamond - here is one that I was introduced to from France.

Great voice Charles and thanks for sharing here. My mother died this past April and she sang opera in here younger days; that was one of her favorites and brought tears to my eyes. Gary

Still amazes me that

Life is all about love
Life is all about touching others' lives.
Life is all about following one's dream.
Life is all aobut taking the plunge and making it happen.
Life is all about sweet memories.

And what they say is SO true: Live a good, humble, joyous life. You get to enjoy it once in actuality and then again every time you think of it!

Thank you again for sharing this!

The best part for him

Is that in an actual opera, there's costumes and makeup, plus, for most of the audience, the singer's teeth are barely noticible... lol...

Seriously, he's got quite a good voice and talent, and some opera company should sign him on instead of letting him waste his time in a talent competition.

How prophetic: "Vincera!" "I will win!" and he did! Thank you, Charles, for sharing this bit of beauty and inspiration with us. He shines like a diamond in a 5 and 10 cent store. The reaction of the audience so early into the aria is testament to how genuine art and beauty can envelope people in a moment. I wonder how many of them listened to opera or knew Turandot. It's a shame that his sublime performance had to be followed by the pedestrian words from the judges.
