Just to add to this discussion, I bought the set a couple months ago and the chrome on the front control panel started to peel off. I emailed Electrolux to get it replaced and after several exchanges with the customer service rep, they agreed to send a replacement free of charge. The washing on this is excellent but we shall see about its durability.

Is there a variance in tumbling speed between whites, heavy duty, normal and causal? Or does it vary within the cycle, like slow to fill or drain, but aggressive when main washing or rinsing?
