How many people out there in washerland actually visited Aberdeen Farm AND how many appliances were actually rescued????

I took a trip with Greg Gansky and Jimmy FilterFlo. There were still tons there to see at the time. I got a box of parts and a Frigidaire Skinny-Mini.

Can someone tell me the story behind Aberdeen Farm? I know that it contained forgotten washers, dryers, and other large appliances, as I've seen the pictures posted here, but I don't know the history. Is there someone here that knows the story of how it began, and of course, what caused it's final demise?
