Does anyone remember a laundry bleaching product from perhaps the late 1960s or early 70s called "Action?" They were pre-measured translucent little packets that contained blue powder. You'd drop them into a hot load and they'd dissolve with agitation.

Oh, Lord!

I'd almost forgotten Action. Mom tried the stuff several times, but those packets were problematic in Georgia. In summer, it gets very humid here, and the soluble packets would burst as you tried to handle them.

I have no idea how well or badly the detergent performed; my laundry consciousness was not all that high back in my teens, LOL.

Action or Axion?...

Apologies for contributing to the confusing mixup here, but for clarification, *as far as I know,* Arthur Godfrey did do the Axion ad *as mentioned in my previous post.* However, I do not know who did the Action Bleach commercial.--Laundry Shark

Remember it well....even if it wasn't pre measured packets like this, I wish someone would come back out with a powdered CHLORINE bleach.
