Addams's or Munsters?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I loves me some eccentrics, so the Addams' get my vote. The way they deadpanned their way through the opening theme song with just the finger-snapping was SO hip-goth-cool.

I also watched and enjoyed the Munsters. Loved the dragon under the stairs. And yes, Fred Gwynne was excellent, wasn't he?

The Munsters I say somewhat reluctantly.

There is an episode in which Eddie needs his tonsils removed. Herman doesn't know what tonsils are and has a look in Eddie's throat. He then faints. I loved the episode, especially how Herman fainted. So I played that scene over and over, mostly fainting on the bed. Until one day when I ended up wrong on the bed and hit a sharp metal edge (I had pulled a rubber cover from it to put something in a leg of the bed). I was unconscious for a few moment and I was bleeding like hell. My mother found me and I was taken to the doctor who put some stitches in my head (at the back of my head, in my hair). So to this day I have a small scar as a reminder.

re Fred Gwynne...

a little OT but I loved his character of the Judge in the movie, "My Cousin Vinnie" an absolute keeper of a movie. Ralph Macchio was overshadowed by Fred, Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei. If you haven't seen the movie it is worth viewing! Great lines, especially the explanation of 'what is a yoot?' :-))) ROFLMAO!
