AEG connection issues

Is anyone else having issues connecting AEG appliances to the app? I have a new AEG 9000x dryer which refuses to connect to the app. I have tried everything. The only error I get is after time out with ECPW007. Must have tried at least 20 times now - I factory reset the washer and reconnected it which was done in under a minute so I don’t think it’s the app (although the washer is on a different network)

My Miele washing machine does not connect to the app if they are not on the same network: may this be the issue?

For clarity: the app is on my phone, which connects to the "main" network, while the washing machine is connected as a "guest" and hence on a different network

Not a network person, but with most home appliances, we're talking 2.4GHz Wifi, and not 5 or 6 GHz.

Some routers use the same SSID (network name) for all frequencys.
I had luck in the past with separating my networks with different SSIDs depending on frequency.
But as with any wireless networking, reasons for issues can be plentiful.


My exs 9000X had no connection issues what so ever.
