When I do quilts and pillow cases in my AEG it still uses the least amount of water but it makes great use if the minnalist approach to its use of water.

I love doing quilts in this machine as when it spins during its rinse cycles it creates a whole load of water and turbulence in the drum when it does this. I find that machins that do not spin when full of water are not as fun to watch, I just wished my machine would spin when its washinng like the old Zanussi's used to.

My machine allows for spinning on the rinses with water inside but when it comes to the spin cycles it stops straight away as the machines thinks theres too much water in it to spin - A bit like a sudeslock, I don't get that logic but hey :-)

1 of 2 vis below as examples of spin rinse with quilt inside (the noise is the quilt hitting the rubber notch on the door seal).

I didn't know that they were using the Jetsystem too....

Electrolux have (well at the moment) stopped bringing in AEG machines to Australia...

Héhé my old olympia doesn't reconize when the water is not flowing away, so she drains and goes directly into spinning... mostly all water is flowing over the door...

It seems your machine is fun! Keep the AEG, they should be the best of electrolux...

Btw a quilt is that the same as a duvet? Thought a quilt was for decoration... and your machine seems to be washing a duvet... or am I so fucked up by my finals XD

Unbalanced spin slowing noise - Horrible noise

Slowing down from very unbalanced spin. The machine is not very good at balancing loads and tends to spin anyway - This is the machine that damaged its glass door with the drum hitting it on a violent spin. Mine is not the only one to have done this. Apart from that the machine is very good, solid and reliable.

my brand new aeg washer is also very good in spinning very unbalanced and produces an annoying rattling noise when spinning unbalanced. However when it spins balanced, it is very quiet.
