Help Support :

Congrats Robert! That is one amazing machine.

Did you say it has no outer tub? Where does the bounced-out water go?

Well, I'll be damned ! A huge congrads ! I bet your adrenaline is still rushing. Your probably still up just looking at it !

You know when I posted a couple of weeks ago? Maybe it was a premonition. LMAO.

I'm soo happy for you!!!!!!!

Now, get your butt back over there and give the guy his twenty bucks. The Washer Fairy is watching! LOL !

PS. don't wear the poor thing out in one night !

A dream machine...

Working?

four miles away??

Free???

Wow! That's excellent, so glad you've found one at last, Robert! And in such nice condition!

Congratulations :-)

WOW! That thing is a trip to watch! And it even works! This is amazing! I bet you thought you were dreaming when you first saw this parked out at the curb.....

I am SO happy for you Robert!

Wow, Robert ... those videos are great; thanks for posting!

That's really interesting about the water level decreasing; makes sense. It's almost like the "Magic Minute", but in reverse.

When the water comes out of the tub, does it pump out during the wash cycle or stay in an outer tub until the spin starts?

What are the mechanics of it like? Is it sort of like a Frigidaire transmission wise?

amazing video

that is the "strangest" washer i have ever seen! and i don't mean that in a negative way, i just feel like i have seen a UFO!

thanks for the superb videos, that washer definately has a mind of it's own! i wouldn't want to piss it off!

Hi Robert. Congratulations. I know how long you have waited to find an Apex bounce-o-matic. I watched each video that you posted and it brought back childhood memories of the Apex bounce-o-matics in communal laundry room in apartment complex that I grew up in. I spent many hours watching the Apexes.
Enjoy the machine and hope to see it some day.

Ross

The videos are amazing. I'm assuming you have taken the day off today as you probably stayed up all night with this machine. I know I would have!

Thanks again for providing us with great history and entertainment.

So I guess now the search is on for the elusive Coronado.

My bet would have been on Robert

if he had pulled up and saw someone else in the process of loading her up!

Truly a fantastic find. I've always heard of an Apex in the same way one hears about the Lost Ark of the Covenent (apparently just as easy to locate as well...).

QUESTIONS! Can you please give us who do not know this machine an idea of the insides? What kind of seals up top does it have to keep all that water in the machine without splashing down the insides and rusting out the cabinette? I'd love to see the mechanicals. It looks almost like a Jetcone (not our Jetcone LOL) set to 'turbo'! Please, enquiring minds just HAVE to know!

This is a good sign for ALL of us! If you can find your Apex then the rest of us have a chance at our dream lists! YAY!

Holy cow! Congratulation! The story and the machine are just amazing! Who'da thunk this day would ever come!

Throw a house warming party for it. We will all be there, full of ooh's and ahh's!

But my question is -- WHAT'S NEXT? The AMC/Coronado? A Blackstone?

CONGRATS!
