Picked up a used GE electric dryer for $30.00 for my small vacation home in northen Maine. Kind of wondering how old the dryer is. Works very well. The pic attached is from my cell phone. The model # is DDE5300BALHA. Wondering if anyone knowns.

Early to mid-1980s at the latest--that wood-grain look on the panel was the last permutation of this control panel before they changed everything and angled the control panels and went with all knobs.

Actually Appnut

They last version of this control Panel was done in black with red lettering.......I know this because neighbors at my lake house had a Filter Flo washer with that panel which the bought circa 1991..... and I also believe for a very short time it was offered in a white on white version as well.... a great dryer

I have had a hotpoint/GE model of this vintage since the 80's. They are great dryers. I have a few parts dryers of this era and expect to keep my dryer going until i no longer need a dryer. They are extremely easy to work on, there is a GE service manual that one can purchase and Grainger has a replacement motor that one can buy if necessary, or at least had one a few years ago. It seems like with the exception of the timer panel and controls, the guts (motors, pulleys, belts, etc. are basically the same for all models. There is a large and extra large capacity which does have a few different parts. If you keep your eyes open, these models are frequently put on the side of the road by folks that are replacing them with new models that will not last nearly as long.
