The plastic side and aluminum front panels of my 2009 Huebsch ZWN432 (and matching dryer) consoles has yellowed over time. Do anyone have a magic trick to get them whiter (bleach doesn't work) ???

... Other than changing the parts of course.

Thanks!

Thanks Jamie!!!
Why I haven't thought of this is beyond me... And I dye my hair!!!

Did a spot check and got some result. So I set up a small station on top of dryer and brushed the stuff over the surfaces (used 3% / 10 Vol. hydrogen peroxide cream) over a few days. Did not bother with the plastic wrap (too much hassle) and applied whenever I came around to it (every 8 to 12 hours).

After 8 applications, I got the desired result. It is not enamel white but good enough for me.

Will buy the stronger stuff (peroxide) to maintain every now and then. Thanks again.

P.S.: Did wonders on the extra rince button also :)

Forgot to mention... Gave the panel a wipe with a wet rag after (what I decided would be) the final application.

Lots of yellow on that rag. Did not wipe in between applications. FYI.
