Air Cleaner/Purifier Recommendations Please

I'm using 3m Filtrete Ultra filters and I haven't had much problems with dust and yukky stuff. I still have to dust and vacuum but nothing like when I was using a generic AC filter.

Can't say when or much about the background of the Trion units. Yes, Fedders does make a whole house air purifier systems, which by the way are highly rated by CR, but have no idea on the smaller units.

This unit is anything but "console" as it is the size of those large floor speakers once found everywhere. There is a smaller table top version, which looks similar to the Oreck and Kenmore models, so perhaps they are made by one plant. According to the box my unit came in, it was made in China (no surprise). This is odd as can swear Fedders website claims the units are built in America.
