While I usually do most of my wash on sunday morning, I sometimes have a mini mid-week wash-evening,

Not to air dirty laundery, but here are tonights loads, #1:

Most Importantly

The KitchenAid KD-15 dishwasher I found a few weeks ago had a terrible leak. It turns out it was the motor shaft/pump seal which luckly is still available. I picked up one today and it washed its premier load tonight!

Now that the mechanics are done, I have to work on the Plexiglass situation for this dishwasher.

Awesome looking dishwasher - how did it do? Isn't that great when parts are still available? I just love ripping open those plastic bags!

I usually wash one evening a week and more on Sunday AM (kind of like washer-church!) to get sheets out on the line early.

Now THAT'S the kind of airing of dirty laundry I like (very much). I can hear that Bendix now. Thanks for the pic of the "new" SQ.

KitchenAid Performance

It washed everything spotless, no rejects, although its not the quietest of dishwashers that for sure. Its louder than both the Frigidaire and Apex, but still quiter than the James. I'm not sure if the heater element is working, the heater assembly itself did not get hot, but the fan runs, yet the dishes were dry, go figure.

Its a nice machine with a wonderful vintage looking control panel, I wonder if this dishwasher needs to become pink???

Robert, next time you snap a pic of a load in the 58 Speed Queen how about using the red coronado agitator? It looks cool.

It was so nice to see some of your machines in action again Robert. I agree with Brent, I love the Bendix. That Kitchen Aid is just beautiful. Hope you can get some kind of glass front for it so we can see the "ACTION' .

No Water Heater

Hi Greg, the Imperial Model does not seem to have a water heater, I believe that was only in the Superba, but I'm guessing here. I was talking about the heater in the dryer fan assembly. I have to check it and see if it heats, the unit felt cool, yet the dishes were dry. No there are no pauses in the cycle that I heard.

Wonderful action pics...and there's that familiar purple striped shirt again, which I'm so accustomed to seeing in the videos!
