That thing is neat, for sure!
I have several old Allis-Chalmers electric motors; from the 10's through the 30's but never seen an A-C fridge before.
The seller posted it on Facebook and got upset because people ridiculed him for the high asking price.

Imported 30 YO Refrigerator
Neat, but the seller needs to remove the zero from the price, $85 is actually much more than it is worth.
I have seen many similar little imported refs from the 70s and 80s and they generally use a lot of power for what they hold.

My maternal grandmother had an Allis-Chalmers refrigerator back in the '70s.
All I remember is that it was brown, (copper?), smaller than a full-sized fridge, had a separate freezer door, unlike the one in this listing, and had the same or nearly the same emblem as this one.
