Am I correct,

Hey

I was an owner of a dyson washing machine in white until a few weeks ago, we decided that with the washing machine going back in the kitchen and the machine being loud on spins we wanted something newer. Something that would wash extremely well with a decent load size capacity, not something that just says it's big and has the same sized drum as a smaller capacity model.

It was a good machine on the whole, had it for a long time, had a huge capacity, had 1 repair in it's time and the drums were locked. It was quiet except when spinning. I thought they stopped production due to it costing a lot to make the machines as well as a few problems, which I didn't experience (maybe I was lucky - lol)

We decided to go for an LG F1479FDS5 steam washing machine which is amazing, washes extremely and is very quiet in operation and is a talking point when anyone comes in

I thought that was the whole idea of Dyson. I mean, if you can figure out a way to charge $300 for a desk fan.....

Wasn't the twin couterrotating drums damaging peoples clothes?Never seen one of their washers sold in my area.See their vacuums and $300 fans.

From watching the video clip of the Dyson washer--looks like a torture chamber for clothes.Dy-shred? Dyson-Twist&Tangle?

I never experienced tangled clothes in the many years of owning one! The golden rule being, never overload. The machines were built very well as Richukbristol has said. They weigh 103kg! They had a range of colours available, from a purple one, to a white with splashes of purple as Richukbristol has, to a white and silver one and a silver with purple splashes and the CR02 allergy complete silver.

I had the white/silver model which didn't look out of place in the kitchen at all with the other appliances, it was always a wow factor when visitors came! Then again everyone has their own personal preferences. The detergent draw isn't trasparent, just the cover is. On youtube theres only one video which is called dyson washing machine gone crazy, with a few other users whom also have filmed there dyson washing machines, seem pretty happy with them, well I was.

I think they should start making washing machines again, without the 2 drum wash action as parts are put under more strain, other than that they were pretty good machines

I wonder why they never made a dryer to match?

I thought a cyclone dryer filtering mechanism, like in a Dyson vacuum, would be a great addition to a dryer. My guess is that it doesn't work well with damp lint.
