being a music lover......

it doesn't matter to me what an artist wears or does. If I like the music they make, then I like it. <p> my tastes run from Doris Day to Madonna to Frank Sinatra to yes even an Eminem song or two. What they wear or what the put on there bodies doesn't matter. If I do not like what I see, I can certainly just listen.

I heard Liberace once say.....you can laugh at me all the wa

He also said in his book, when asked about his flashy wardrobe (off and on stage), that dressing the part puts the "show" in showbusiness! It worked for him, Phillis Diller, Elton John, Elvis Presley...etc.

I had the great fortune to meet Liberace. As a budding young pianist I asked him for advice. His answer was "Put your heart in your hands and practice". Off stage he was a very quiet, gentle natured man. I miss him :-)

Well, I'm gonna stick with my prediction that Adam will at some point end up in the role of Frank N Furter in one genre or another. It's totally him and if anyone could take things any further with it, he's the guy.

Fire up your toasters everybody.

Just an idea for American Idol............

Since this IS a singing competiton, I think it should be done
on the radio instead of the TV.
This way, no one could see them ahead of time and we'd have
no idea what they look like.
Too many times we judge a person by the way they look.

Actually, Adam Lambert (with the eyeliner on) reminds me of Liza Minelli. (NOT her voice of course)

Yeah, I'm done with AI now. We both got caught up in it when we saw the auditions a couple of seasons back. That's really the best part of the whole process. But now that it's clear the AI audience is entirely unsophisticated in what it considers an entertainer, we're outta there.
