Amana Refrigerator SXD25, SX25, SXD22, SX22

We recently bought a home with an Amana refrigerator. The sticker inside lists models SXD25, SX25, SXD22, & SX22. Can anyone tell me approximately how old this refrigerator is, and where I might obtain a manual?

The Amana web site (presuming there is one) could have a downloadable manual if the fridge isn't too old.

Amana liked to move the model tag around a bit. You need to find the actual model/serial tag. What you found is the sticker for comparison shopping when it was new. The model/serial sticker will be in one of several places:
1)On the inside roof of the fresh food compartment maybe near the lights.
2)On the inside side wall of the fresh food compartment either near the roof or down along side the crispers.
3)Down behind the kickplate.

If you can get a full Model, Serial and a B/M (Bill of Materials) number, your questions can be better solved. Good luck.
