Well, im ok thankfully, but my eye is killing me.. Last night trying to wash some of my bfs clothes i grabbed the spray n wash and the nozzel wasnt screwed on tight and it splashed on me.. Not thinking i reached up and rubbed my eye.,, Needles to say after a 5 hour trip to the er.. Im ok, my contact came out, but im home on bed rest for two days lol...

Are all laundry products that caustic???

Probably....

...and I certainly wouldn't want to get them in my eyes...

I know that this is akin to closing the gate after the horse has bolted, but I would suggest getting yourself an 'eyewash glass'.

They look like a small medicine measuring glass but have a shaped top to fit the eye socket...you simply (ensuring it is clean!....) 2/3 fill with clean water, lean over and cup it over the socket and then lean back whilst blinking to flush the eye....great for what has just happened to you and for eyelashes, grit etc

Thanks
Looking at some house hold chemicals i am shocked.. I have ingested windex and dish soap before and never got sick... And got pledge in my eyes one time but never like this..

Sorry to hear Chuck:

I'm glad that you are doing better now and did go to the "ER" just to make sure that your Eye got proper care.

I'm curious to know if the Spray-N-Wash that got into your Eye did any damage to your Contact Lens, to where you have to replace the Lens?

Peace, Blessings and Good Recovery in time, Steve
