Oh my! My cat just does her stuff in a standard litter box that I (or my mom) change every few days (or she goes in the garden!) My Melissa would be afraid of using such a thing haha!

These got very bad reviews but I can't remember where I read them. I have the Litter Maid box for my kitty and it works really well if you have a small to mid sized cat. If you have a big cat they don't work as well. They are preset to clean 10 minutes after the cat uses the box. If you have a large cat or one that pees in huge amounts that's not enough time for the litter to clump and it makes a mess. If they were made to extend the waiting time it would be better but for some reason they are not programmable.

Oooh

Our litter trays right beside our washing machine...

Well, when I say ours, i mean my cats.

Heres a pic! Hes called Pie because... Well, it was a joke that got out of hand.

I found a Litter Maid Plus at the Goodwill last week for $10 and it came with extra charcoal pads and disposable boxes. Figured my sister would want it. Also figured it was there because it wasn't functioning but when I got it home and plugged it in it was working fine, just have to get it over to her place

it looks a little small...from that first video, if cat sits wrong while "doing it's business" they will end up aiming over the side and missing the litterbox completely. Still, an interesting gadget. I wonder if any cats would have a problem with the cold, damp sand in it. I imagine the warm air doesn't clean it completely.

Who's The Boss?

Thomas thinks he own this place, but he rocks and I rule!

This was my sister's cat and she could not take care of him, so I'm having the time of my life being the Momma's-Baby-Daddy.
I guess I'm old fashion and prefer to scoop his wet Scoop away clump in a trash can and his solids down Johnny's throat,
so we share the bathroom and boy can we stink up the place!

This cat has a habit in my drinking out of the toilet in my sister's place but I've nipped it in the bud because of Catit.
Now If I can get him to pay the light bill, we can be one big happy family.....

Great invention, but no thanks.

The cat may have been afraid of it.

My sister bought one of these years ago and her cats were afraid of it and wouldn't go near it. She ended up giving it away. I suspect that could be why you found one at the second hand store.

We have a Catit and both the dog and cat love it. I have to fill it almost every day but they do seem to like it.
