Rinso....

"I'm goin' downtown!" You're too funny! Actually I love the side effect warnings on medicine commercials as well! "You may have serious discomfort using the toilet, You may start bleeding profusely, and your husband may get run over by a bus, but those pesky headaches will be gone within minutes!"

I always wondered about that erection thing. Why do you have

Veg

LoL....

Priapism is a medical condition that needs treatment otherwise you could face some nasty side effects..Read the page from wikipedia..Ouch!

Although i will admit, i don't need to here about a womens time of the month, some one havin herpes or some other disorder... Makes me feel nasty

Oh yea, those cavemen are a bunch of idiots

Burger King!

sudsamn! I hate that freaky King! He's looking through the window in one commercial, like a peeping tom! In another, he's in bed watching the person sleep until they wake up! What is that?

BMW also has one that they show on Bravo all the time where there are two kids opening Christmas presents and are obviously happy at what they got and are screaming up their lungs! The boy is screaming louder than the girl!

Oxyclean commercials

That annoying Mays guy needs a volume control. Why did the FCC quit enforcing the rules reguarding increasing the volume on commercials? When I have the TV volume fairly low, I can hear the oxyclean commercial come on when I'm in another room.

One word:

ONSTAR. I know it's not television but I hate them just the same.

That damn Onstar Emergency commercials. You don't have enough time to turn off the radio before you hear the screaming/crying lady that just totaled her car.

And I also agree with JoeEkaitis on those smart woman/stupid man commercials. So much for neutrality.

jason jason....

Simply being able to have the doors unlocked remotely is worth having Onstar.

On the other hand, my car has one of those remote control gizmos. Recently while Christmas shopping I loaded my packages, and my KEYS into the trunk. Standing there like an @$$ with my cell phone, locked car, and nothing else, I started walking back to the mall. I called my sister (my emergency key set holder) hoping that she'd come rescue me. She said I'll unlock it right now for you, go back to your car!! Relieved, thinking she was at the mall also, I walked back to my car, still talking to her. I get to the car, wondering where she is, when she says "aim your phone at the car." I thought she was nuts, but I'd humor her anyway. As soon as I put my phone near the car all the doors unlocked! She told me about the article she had read about using your key fob over a cell phone. I'm glad she had paid attention to that article. I don't think I would have read OR believed it.

I don't want to give anyone false hopes.......

About locking your keys in your car and getting rescued.

My car is a 1996. Old by most peoples thinking. I really doubt this would work on a newer model car.

OK..I am going to have to try that...Have a 1998 and a 2004...
Maybe we should submit it to Mythbusters
Dear Jason

Just cause you hate onstar doesn't mean you need to get violent with it..It comes standard on every new GM...In order to get it without, you need to special order one.. It only saves you $210 avg.... BTW, you get a huge break on ones insurance with it

"Theres been an accident, Oh my god...AHHHHHHHHHHH&quot

I hate those too, but i still like the idea of onstar

I have OnStar. We really haven't had to use any of the features except the phone, but it makes me feel safer knowing that if our van did crash, or if it was stolen, that there would be someone sending help the moment after it happened, or tracking it down.

jason and exploder....ditto.

It's a great idea...I'd pay for it...but I resent their exploiting someone else's fear and suffering to promote their product.

At first, the commercials were light-hearted and such, but then they started getting into terrified children and the like, and the fact that they are allegedly real calls, to me, makes it even more shameful.

Just my two cents...

Whenever I press the "Blue Button", there is a disclaimer stating "This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes". I for one hope my call never ends up on an OnStar commercial.

I have used it off and on in my sisters Tahoe for the phone and directions, it was nice but not worth what i pay for it (yeah, thats my christmas gif yearly to her, i feel better with her having it)... Plus (theres a post on here about it) when she forgot the Tahoe was in her Garage, they did track it back to her house and had police there in a matter of hours...She still can't believe she did this..Somehow i can

The BMW Xmas ads with the screaming kids who obviously learned that behavior from a parent. Those are the most irritating ads of the season. Just noticed last night that they appear to have heard from enough people to have edited out the screaming. Great, with 2 days left to the advertising season. I hope somebody gets fired over that one.

Also, here in the west, the Safeway ads are super annoying. I've always liked Tony Bennett but am sick of hearing him ask "Are you having any fun?" over and over all day and all night, on TV and radio. If I were him I'd rethink allowing any advertiser to use my stuff if they're intending to assault the public every few minutes.

Empire Carpeting

The commercial always ends with their telephone number sung in a 1940's big band era Andrews Sisters way. Whenever I see the commercial starting I quickly change the channel!
