Another 1-18

I found another 1-18 this morning. This is the first time I have found a fairly vintage machine, still connected and functioning. The owner wants to keep it to do a few more loads of laundry, so she will call later in the week.

I hope this works out, I just hate leaving that Frigidaire there. But she seemed determined to keep it for a few more days.

It is a green one, in good condition.

Don't have it yet

I was supposed to pick up the 1-18 yesterday. I have anticipatated this all week, and am experincing want-a-washer-itis. The owner has had a problem selling her house, and would like to keep the washer as long as the house remains unsold. She thought it would be sold by now, probably related to the mortgage crisis going on right now.

So now I will have to wait another week. I keep thinking she is a flake, but I do want the washer and I supose I will have to wait this out.
