Gee, Cimbie, it's local to you. I'm sure you can turn your bedroom into a Milnor-room and sleep on the sofabed in the living room, right? I mean, we all must make sacrifices for our hobby, lol.
OK, so they might have to hoist it up on a crane and bring it in through a window, like a piano. So you might have to hire a contractor to lay a 4 inch thick cement floor in your Milnor room nee bedroom. So you might have to splice together forty 15 amp 110 volt circuits to get one 440 volt 3 phase circuit so you could actually turn on the Milnor and watch it run.

Don't think the building could support the machine! You forgot to mention the drains as well! *LOL*
If one owned a commerical laundry those Milnor units would be top of my list. There seem to be so many popping up on eBay recently.

Not 55 lb. but probably a better deal, just starting a commercial laundry you should look for the best deal and start small anyway!

Speaking of commercial machines...
I ran my Primus W10 22lb commercial wash extractor with water in it for the first time yesterday. The catch is that it requires 220V 3 phase ~3.6 amps. I originally bought 2 on ebay (1 to use, 1 for parts). I am in the final stages of ironing out the bugs in the rotary phase converter that I built. I will post pictures of the machine and the converter in a few days.

I´m thinking about starting a Laundromat only with affinity washers and dryers, because i can buy them very cheap, directly from Electrolux. What do you think?
Of course it won´t be a super laundromat, but i think i can have some profits.

Affinity washers? Like the Frigidaire home model with a coin drop start? It would be a start, but don't expect them to hold up in the situation...
I have a friend who lives on a farm and has an old Maytag sudsaver set that is on its last legs. A while back they actually asked me about a Milnor as a possible replacment machine, they wanted to put it in their warehouse which has 3 phase power and concrete floors for running some of their farm equipment. Then I told them a likely price tag and they dropped the idea fairly quickly! lol
Well they could always go for this model at about half the price.
Milnors on eBay and other sellers of used commercial laundry appliances range the gamut. This particular unit is no more expensive than a Miele washing machine. The big problem with purchasing any large commercial washer/extractor is shipping and installation.
