Well I feel as though I have just had my last birthday, and now here it is again, my how quickly they come around.
I wonder does time seem to be going faster as you get older?, or was it because as a young fellow, you take no notice of it as you are too busy being young?.
I am 44 today and I intend to enjoy myself after I get home from work.
Cheers folks.
Steve.

Happy 44th. You're only as old as you think and feel. I seldom feel like I'm over 50 most of the time and the times I do I try and brush those aside as quickly as possible. But then mirrors never lie so I avoid them LOL

A very happy birthday and I hope you are enjoying it to the utmost. I turned 52 a few weeks ago and it was not a big deal until today. I was filling out an application for teaching in one of our local highschools, our teachers have been without a contract for almost 2 years and are going to go out on strike in the next week so they are looking for subs, well when they asked my age and when I graduated from college I sort of stumbled and finally came out with 52 and graduated in 1978. Wow was that a reality check. Enjoy 44 cause yes as you get older the time does go by faster. I think cause as we age we get more involved with things and your mind is so busy all the time that time just flies. Oh well I will hoist a drink to you now. CHEERS

time flies

I had someone explain to me once why time seemed to go faster as we got older: Think of your life as a pie. When you are four, one year represents one quarter of your life (a big piece of the pie and a lot of time). As you age, the pieces become smaller. When you are 50, one year has become 1/50th of the pie (a much smaller piece and a much smaller piece of time), so the time from one year to the next seems to be shorter.

Thank you all

It was really heartwarming to come home from work and read these great messages, thank you one and all, I had a really good day at work and now I am off to dinner with some cherished friends.
Aren't close friends just great and a good reason for being alive.
Cheers.
Steve.

I always say

Isn't it amazing how once you graduate from high school your life seems to go into fast forward?

And the older you get the faster it goes.
