Thank you for your kind message but I could give the name of several folks in the VCCC that might not have the kindest words for me!!!

Yes, it is fun to flirt and I have met some wonderful people through many walks in life by doing so.

However, some of the kindest, most considerate, generous of heart and most loving people I have met in life are the members of the VCCC. A small group of those people have become my family and I am grateful.

I am finding that the AW folks are of the "same cloth" and I feel extremely fortunate and blessed that so many of us have had the wonderful oportunity to cross paths and I include you in this group and look forward to when we have the opportunity to meet.

Tania has told me some many kind things about you. I hope you will be able to join us in Omaha in 2007.

Ha. I do have a high school pic.

That's my girlfriend from high school on the right. No, I wasn't dating a tramp - it is from a cast picture of a show I worked on. She was in the chorus, and hadn't taken her makeup off yet ;-)

love it, love it

I love this participation, you guys look awesome, GREAT, GREAT photos ........... delangdon, what a cutie and gansky, what can I say, still cute as ever (wink) ......

Paging Mr. Greg Nunn............

Someday my prince will come, someday my prince will come......

I would cry too if I had to stand out in that horrible cold weather with that frozen stuff around me, ick!

I much prefer the toy washing set, tacky couch and bad hat. And since when has it become such a bad thing to have a bit of meat on your bones?

Hello gorgeous!!!

Gansky....

I suspect the camper pic was taken immediately after you discovered no washer on board??

Those are great pics, I especially like the one with you in the blue blazer, what a little cutie!!

Greg, I hope you got a "Zoo Key" and a ride on the choo-choo when you went to Henry Doorly. And I love that knotty pine room in the background of the second pic. Our basement rec room is knotty pine, and I love it!

...and I think we wore the same tux to prom in 1982. Good thing we didn't go to the same school ;-)

Greg, love the HS pic....your smile (then and now) gets me in my weak spot EVERY time...

Charlie, I esp. like your disco era picture! Reminds me of a boy I knew back at that time, a little later in the 70s but the same basic era. I was all about the boys with the clothes like that and the platform shoes at that time.

Rick, I know I don't even have to tell you my thoughts. ;-) The motorcycle picture is definitely working for me! You've always had it, never lost any of it!

What a fun collection of pictures from everybody!

Scott...

Darling,

Thank you for your message! What times have gone by as evidenced by these pictures.
We missed you in St. Louis and I hope you can make to Omaha in 2007.

I see you posting out here and am glad I can say hi. Hope all is working out well for you in LA and I send my best.

I love it!!

All these pictures and putting faces on names! Time does fly and it has been fun to look back at the styles of clothes and hair! We are all fabulous!!!!

Trying to download!

Greg,

I'll be happy to post some real '70's "funky" shots as soon as I find the cable to transfer the pictures from my Kodak Instamatic X-15 (with magicubes) to the computer!!

I'm sure I have a few pictures kicking around that show me thin and with hair! Yikes!!

Ron

Kodak Instamatic X-15 (with magicubes)

Oh Ron....way too funny~!

I remember those magic cubes.......

A few pictures kicking around that show me thin and with hair!

LOL....Yikes.......A trip down memory lane.....

If we could only turn back the clock...

big hair

oyvay Robert that hair .......... looks like its trying to leave your head .......... hahahahah ...........

Kodak Instamatic X-15 (with magicubes)

OMG I had one of those!! In fact I still have it packed away somewhere, my first camera!
I also still have my Kodak Trimlite Instamatic 18, and the Minolta XG1 I bought in 1980.

Gary, while its been fun to dig up the memories, for me I would not want the clock turned back. Life is too good today!

Instamatic X-15

I hate to admit it, but I still have it. If I could find the film and the magicubes, I'd bring it to the NE wash-in this weekend for some laughs.

Of course, even if I did find the film and the magicubes, it's just not the same without the Fotomat to bring the film to in order to get them developed.

Ron

I see magicubes at sales, with their matching Instamatic cameras at sales all the time. We had several cameras over the years - the slimline pocket cameras were my fave. My first "good" camera was a Kodak Disc model - remember those and the daisy wheel disc returned with the prints that held the negatives? Love it!

Circa 1988, high school yearbook office...I seem to be having an attack or something. Yes, that's a PCjr keyboard behind me. You can see that the hairline had already begun its retreat.

Circa 1999...I'm really not sure what's happening here. Yes I am, I was working in university housing and we were celebrating the end of summer camps and the departure of all the brats that had lived in our building for the summer.

I was running 2 miles a day at this point in time, with the mistaken notion that if I was fit, I would find a man.

You know, the passage of time has been kind to my high school hair. But in 1988, that was the HEIGHT of dorkiness...no gel, no mousse, no perm, no NOTHING. Just a twice weekly cut at a barber shop--the kind with 60's paneling and mounted fish hanging on the wall.

I don't miss my hair AT ALL.

T.
