The U4003

Hey Skip

Its a 240v version. They came over (along with the 858 Connie) at a couple of points when the UK plant either couldnt meet demand or went on strike!. The main visible differences between it and the US version are the plain headlamp lens(As opposed to Custom convertible on the US version)and the Made in USA sticker above the Hoover emblem on the hood. Also this one has the red toggle on the switch and appears to be missing the grommet where the cord goes into the switch plate- I have spare US switches tho-(Thanks Jeff) and im sure the grommet can be sorted .
