Basement of my parent's house only had one of these, but such fun!

Shame they are not really used/installed much anymore. Besides laundry great for bathing the family dog in as well.

They're plastic now

...and much easier to transport/install. They still have the "washboard" surface molded in...I have no idea why.

I'd hate to be without one.

There was a free double cement one available locally here last week. I passed on it because I had my hands full with the KA dishwasher. Also because I've kind of run out of room for such toyz.

My parents have one of these in their basement also. They have no built in washboard surface however. Their's also has a high back, and a set of faucets on each side. I would like one in my home, but no room.
