Really, the Hoover looks pristine.

Almost sure dryer is the Maytag "Porta-Pair" half.

While unused/newly new condition is often a good thing when it comes to appliances, for Hoover twin-tubs it can be a double edged sword.

The pump especially wants using at regular intervals to keep bits from drying out. That and from hard water/soap/detergent and other crud from forming a rock hard mass inside. Still nothing that often can't be fixed.

like my car, that has been sitting for a couple years in a garage,not able to start it...hardening of rubber parts and other degradations...the Hoover might be in better shape.
