I have had one problem . . .
. . . with my gas fired F&P top load dryer when it quit heating. I found a repairman locally who knew his stuff about F&P, and he found a part on the heater unit that had quit working. As far as I know, it was one of the electronic pieces. He ordered a new part, put it in, and it's been working fine ever since. I think the part was about $60 and his charge for installing it was $75.
It's working fine now. It's been a good dryer. And I like the reversing tumble which prevents large items like sheets from balling up and not getting dry like they did in my Duet.
