Any Jacksonville, FL Members?

Hi:

There is a Craiglist item in Jacksonville I'd like to buy, and I'm wondering if we have any members there. It's a household item that is the last piece of a set I'm trying to put together.

My experience with CL is that people don't respond when someone out of their area emails them and offers to buy via PayPal or personal check; that evidently sounds like a scam to most people.

Would anyone in that area be willing to contact the seller for me? I can also send you money via PayPal.

I have frequently bought things via a CL ad. The purple forum is chocked full of CL ads. The key in communicating is to be polite and specific about the item. The spammers send the emails that say, Is your item available, very nice!

I am sure if you explain that you're wanting that piece, offer to pay however they wish you to, they just might ship it to you.
