Anyone else having issues accessing the forums?

I've been having some very weird issues accessing the board and the various forums in the past few days.
Sometimes when I try to access a specific thread or forum, I just hang there waiting to connect. I have tried clearing my browser cache and restarting it and it seems to work for a short time, then I just hang up again. Is there something I could be doing differently??
Also, I notice that if I close the browser window when I am logged in, when I try to go back into the board, I have been logged out. Most odd...

I wouldn't put it past him... LOL Still, his 'dishwasher location preventer' filter on craigslist Montreal site was a flop...
Funny but now my access seems to be back to normal... Most weird...

Hi Paul, all appears normal for me and no one else has reporting any slowdowns. Has everything returned to normal for you? I suspect its something local on your ISP side.

I just got an issue about too many connections to the database, or something. Clicked off before I grabbed a screen shot. If I see another one, I will grab it.

I just sent a copy of the error message verbiage about the site being overwhelmed to Robert via e-mail, since I couldn't access this thread.

Five minutes later I'm access things fine, so maybe it really is a server issue?

Seems fine now, having a busy work day. I'll look into it in a bit, this is probably a server issue.

Could be a time of day thing, too. In the evening is when I have been experiencing the most difficulty. I am using my work PC and ISP now and it seems OK.
I found that by closing the browser session and opening a new one, it would let me access site for a while, but would then slow down. Then again I am slowing down too... LOL

I had a problem tonight too

I used the link from Hooverland. Unfortunatly I did not grab a screenshot either but it read something like
"Friends, the site you are trying to access is experiencing problems ...." The message was from Lunarpages and occured at around 10.35pm - Vancouver time.

I got teh message twice using the link - then sucessfully got teh site by accessing it directly. Tried the Hooverland link again and this time it worked
