Anyone Else Notice Shipping Costs Rising?

Guess is should have come as no surprise with the vast increase in petrol prices, but nearly fainted when Beltmann gave me a quote of almost $400 to move a small dryer just one state. For that kind of money one can rent a U-Haul,van or even a sport-ute for a day and do the job oneself.

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. More 'add on' delivery charges, too. Time for some brainiac to get serious about inventing that....that.....damn it, I can't remember what they're called. The thing they had in Star Trek that could beam you from one place to another. One of those.
