Anyone going to miss Sue Johanson?

I just found out that Sue Johanson's Sex Talk is done! I watched her farewell show, and I almost cried at the end when she said goodbye to everyone! A lot of times the things she said were common sense, but I really enjoyed watching her... I liked the way she talked and really loved some of the callers' off the wall questions. I sure hope they play re-runs!

I didn't watch that one much but I do remember when a radio station here would run the Dr. Ruth Westheimer show. I liked hearing it but I could not believe what some of the callers talked about on national radio.

Was this today? She was on with a rerun on the O2 network tonight. I never would have guessed that she would give it up this soon.
We watched her periodically. She has quite a humorous personality. But sometimes some of the questions people ask makes you think "How could they NOT know that!"
But then again, if you don't ask you'll never know!

Well, she is pushing 80 and has been on radio or tv in Canada about 30 years. I met her once eons ago and she is exactly the same as her on air personality....just less graphic...

This lady made talking about sex okay and educational. You could watch her shows with your spouce and even your teens without any fear of slang language ever being used. I hope someone will contiunue with this format. This show originated from Canada (love those Canadians)where I suppose they don't have any government agencies like the FCC breathing down their neck on what they can and cannot say. You can thank the Oxygen Network for carrying this show. Sue has had 2 gay males on her show as a guest/expert. One was a physican, and the other one was an expert on toys. Perhaps they could get together and start a show.
