<------ Need a cooktop panel (the one with the 4 burner holes)
for '58 GE 40" Liberator.
24" x 40" in size.

Custom Ceramics in IL lost ours when it went out of business! :-(

Canary Yellow (light pastel yellow) color if available.

eMail: firesweep at verizon dot net

Please advise and thanks.

Thanks,
Roger in NY

"lost it" huh?  You know, I can't count how many times the same thing has happened to me.  I lay that top down and go about my business and first thing I know - it's gone.  Maybe there's some kind of black market for those 40" tops.

Yes lost it...

when we spent $50 to ship it to CCC and then learned after the fact that they have gone out of business and now will not answer the phone or eMails. What would you call it? Trying to find a correct a 63 yr old cooktop panel is no laughing matter, thank you.

We have filed a case with Better Business Bureau of their city but hold out little hope of recovery.

we have no idea...

Fed Ex tracking said it was delivered, then nothing. Another ceramic restorer told us several weeks ago that CCC has gone out of business, but their website says nothing about it. We figure it's long gone at this point. Finding another in the correct color good enough to use as-is would be ideal, but we're going to do whatever is needed to restore this range, come hell or high water. It'll be the last resto that we do, and we'll need assistance to do so because health issues are increasingly making any kind of work physically impossible, but are determined to put this great vintage double-oven range back into service. We really miss using it every day and love it's pale yellow color and avant-guard Jetsons styling.
