Anyone in Indy looking for a Frigidaire WO-65?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The dryer in that good a condition needs to be saved too. Steve (MayKen4Now) has one but not in as good a shape, last time I saw a pic of it.

Imagine the additional tragedy had it been turquoise, yellow, or pink!

Actually Patrick, I bet not a lot of people know this, but at the very end of the WO-65-2 run in 1954 they started producing this washer in Pink, Sherwood Yellow and Sea-Foam Green.

Yes that very early Frigidaire dryer is really a Hamilton made dryer before Frigidaire had introduced their Filtrator in 1952.

Hi Rich, I have only seen them in old sales brochures, I have never ever seen one in person or saw where someone has found one, they are very rare to say the least.

Robert,

This is just one of many reasons to love your site. I learn something new each time I read the posts. Well with as many white WO-65-2's that surface, one in a color *should* appear sometime. I can't wait to see one!

BTW...there are two either WO-65 or -2 (can't see the dial on the one in Pittsburgh) on eBay at the moment!

Yes I knew that had to be right! Don't you have this same washer in Seafoam?

I'm particularly interested in this item because I have been wanting a vintage top-loading Frigidaire, ideally a Unimatic of course ;)
